The Carpenters were the biggest-selling group in the 1970s – and now you can enjoy their music all over again.

For Yesterday Once More (The Music Of The Carpenters Show) comes to The Maltings in Berwick on Friday, January 30.

Kim Dickinson has been one of the greatest fans of the brother-and-sister duo for many years and now she transports her audiences with the natural and uncanny likeness of her voice to that of Karen Carpenter.

As well as her Carpenter tribute, in recent years Kim has also supported The Beach Boys and Richard Marx, and enjoyed considerable success with her own country album, which was number one in both Independent European and The Nashville Showcase charts.

Throughout the show Kim will deliver the songs that made Karen Carpenter famous before her untimely death in 1983 at the age of 32.

No fewer than 10 of The Carpenters singles went on to become million-sellers, and by 2005 combined worldwide sales of albums and singles well exceeded 100 million units.

Kim has already graced the stage of the National Concert Hall in Dublin and Belfast Waterfront, with her tribute to The Carpenters. She has played to full houses and has had great success performing at many venues, large and small, in theatres across the UK and live on radio with hits such as Close to You, Superstar, For all we Know, Song for You, Top of the World to mention just a few.

Kim has the vocal quality and emotion to take you through a journey that will recreate the soothing voice of Karen Carpenter with its depth of tone and richness.
