Award-winning artist and author Moy Mackay is proving that her pioneering style of “felt painting” has worldwide appeal.

After many successful workshops in her studio at the WASPS Artists Studio in Selkirk, and a well-recieved trip to Norway in 2013, Moy recently left for Australia where her workshops are much in demand.

Moy will spend the next four weeks tutoring workshops in how to create unique and beautiful artwork.

After Australia she will be returning to Norway, followed by a stint in The Hamptons in America, just a fortnight later. The week after that sees her flying to the West Coast of America where Oregon waits to welcome her.

Moy’s consummate skill with felt painting and embroidery has attracted a loyal and growing fan base following numerous exhibitions throughout the UK and also in the US.

A graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, Moy is the author of Art in Felt and Stitch, and her second book Flowers in Felt and Stitch will be published in November by Search Press.
