On Tuesday, June 17, two Borders writers will be launching their new books in Melrose.
Iona McGregor (Iona Carroll), who runs writing workshops at the Abbey Row in Kelso, is launching her debut novel, Crying Through the Wind, a family story of drama, intrigue and love, set in post-war Ireland and the first of a trilogy.
While prize-winning Melrose author, Oliver Eade, is launching The Kelpie’s Eyes, a young readers’ fantasy novel that travels from The Grey Mare’s Tail in the Borders to other times and other dimensions.
The event will take place in the Ormiston Lounge (upstairs), Corn Exchange, Melrose betweed 7pm and 9pm. Free drinks and refreshments will be available.
