With five minutes of injury time played, it looked as though Selkirk would earn a hard-fought draw with Dundee at Mayfield on Saturday.

However, an offside infringement by a visiting back allowed Bryce Hosie to land a 40-metre penalty and secure victory for the Tayside team with the final kick of the game, assuring them fourth spot in the RBS National League – one place above Selkirk.

Selkirk try scorers were Ross Nixon and Darren Clapperton, with Rory Banks kicking two conversions and a penalty.
