SRU SCHOOLS UNDER-16 BOWL FINAL

Jedburgh Grammar School appeared in their third Murrayfield final in five years on Friday night and brought home the Under-16 Bowl title following a hard-fought battle with Edinburgh’s Firhill High School.

The game was played in an excellent competitive spirit and ended with the Borderers scoring the winning try with five minutes to go through a fantastic run from full back Scott Richardson.

Jedburgh’s other try-scorers were Gregor Law, Craig Adamson and prop Cole Lothian. All tries were converted by Clark Skeldon.
