Jed hit rock bottom

Jed-Forest 14

Hamilton 35

RBS NATIONAL LEAGUE

THREE quick-fire tries in the opening quarter of this National League basement battle allowed Hamilton to leapfrog Jed, who are now firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.

The visitors went 19-0 ahead after 20 minutes, but credit to the hosts, who dug deep and came back with tries from David Gobby and Lewis Young, converted
by Iain Chisolm to close
thegap. Any hopes of catching their visitors slipped away two minutes before half-time, however, when Hamilton crossed the tryline again.

Half-time score: Jed-Forest 14 Hamilton 24.

Hamilton added two penalties and a try to their score
without reply in the second
half.
