High-flying Forest have Fife in sight

JED-FOREST’S domination of Championship B was delayed last week when failure to find a front row resulted in hosts Lasswade calling off the match.

This weekend, the Riverside outfit hope to get their campaign up and running again when they visit Howe of Fife.

Jed’s Darren Gillespie has returned from a trip playing high-class rugby league in New Zealand to help his home club with their promotion bid.

Jed are currently second in their league on 37 points and with a game in hand on current leaders Musselburgh who have 39 points.

Hawick YM are in ninth.
