JED-FOREST RFC has received a welcome cash boost from TalkTalk, the home phone, broadband and mobile provider, who will be one of the club’s sponsors for the next 12 months.
The funding is to be put towards some much-needed refurbishment of the changing rooms.
Billy Grieve, president at Jed-Forest, said: “We are delighted that TalkTalk is sponsoring Jed-Forest Rugby Football Club over the coming year. We are working hard to raise money to modernise and redecorate the changing rooms, and the donation we’ve received is fantastic. With support from TalkTalk we will be able to improve facilities at the club.”
Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at TalkTalk, said: “Investing in the local area allows us to bring our great value offers to even more families in Jedburgh and we are proud to be supporting Jed-Forest Rugby Football Club.
“They are in the heart of the community and we wish them every success with their endeavours both on and off the field over the coming months.”
Alongside the sponsorship, TalkTalk is investing £50,000 in technology to bring best-value broadband offers to Jedburgh.
TalkTalk is expanding its Next Generation Network in the area, which should give customers access to fast, reliable broadband services.
