Adam returns to his roots

Kelso RFC have announced that Adam Roxburgh, who was capped eight times for Scotland in the 1990s, will be the new head coach for next season.

Roxburgh played for Kelso in the successful team that made the national cup final on two successive occasions, as well as being an outstanding sevens player.

A keen cricketer and golfer, Roxburgh was captain of the rugby club in 1997/98 and 2002/03, and has been involved in the coaching set-up during the latter part of the season just past, which saw Kelso maintain their position in the National League Division One.
