The Border League comes to the fore this weekend, with matches around the region on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

On Friday, Hawick and Selkirk go head-to-head at Mansfield Park, and Jed-Forest play host to Melrose at Riverside. Both matches kick off at 7.30pm.

After a two-week lay-off, Gala will welcome Kelso to Netherdale (3pm).

George Graham’s men hold a narrow lead on the Booker Border League table over Premiership rivals Melrose. Both teams have played three games, won two and lost one. Both have picked up two bonus points along the way, but Gala have the edge on points difference.
