Paralympic posse

A TRIO of sporting heroes from the Borders will travel to London this week as the 2012 Paralympics prepares to go under starter’s orders.

Langholm siblings Libby and James Clegg, formerly of Newcastleton, as well as Bonchester’s Kate Murray, will all compete on the world stage when the event kicks off next Wednesday.

Beijing silver medallist Libby will be looking to go one better when taking to the track in the T12 sprints, while 18-year old swimmer James competes in the S12 100m Butterfly, 100m and 50m freestyle. Kate will be aiming to hit the medals in the women’s recurve archery.
