Gap shortens as Border Club A inflict surprise loss on league leaders

A SHOCK defeat for the Border Snooker League leaders last week means that the gap between Hawick Conservative Club A and Hawick Burns Club A has narrowed to just four points.

Suffering their first loss of the season the top ranked Tories went down 4-2 to local rivals Border Club while the Burns men produced a convincing 5-1 victory over Selkirk B.
