Kelso travelled to Bailliefields to take on bottom side Westquarter and Redding, but fell to a shock defeat.
The visitors lost the toss and were put into bat, and got off to the worst possible start, being reduced to eight for two.
Two soon became three when Steve Patterson was dismissed for 11 with the score on 24.
However, Jason Gibson and Ben Grindell steadied the ship with 30 and 40 to their names, but a batting collapse which saw the final six wickets fall for just 12 runs meant the visitors finished 126 all out.
Defending a small total, the bowlers had their work cut out, and got off to a perfect start, with Tom Grindell taking the first wicket with the score on three.
Stuart Cessford removed the dangerman Mumtaz for 41 to give Kelso hope.
Ben Grindell took two wickets, but had no answer for Shah (37 not out), who saw Westquarter home with 3.1 overs to spare.
