Waverley A take up pole position

CURRENT Borders Pool League champions Waverley A hit the front with three games to play by trouncing their B team in last week’s matches.

Chasers Ship A and High Level both crashed away from home. Level were blown away by the Fleece and Ship were edged out in a thriller at Niki’s.

In Division Two, Reivers B turned the screw on their pursuers, with both Ship B and Reivers C edging single-frame wins.

At the bottom, Queens Head whitewashed the Bridge to get within one point of White Swan Kelso.
