Tweedsiders go joint top

Kelso beat
Edinburgh South

by 30 runs

The Tweedsiders got off to a slow start when their top three batsmen went cheaply with only 25 runs on the board.

This brought Craig Adams and Tom Grindell to the crease to steady the ship with the latter reaching 107 off 118 balls to ensure Kelso finished the 50 overs on 247 for 5.

Edinburgh struggled from the outset in their innings, eventually falling short of Kelso’s total by 30 runs and the Tweedsiders picked up their second win of the season to go joint top of Division One.
