HIGH LEVEL kept their top spot in Division One of the Borders Pool League this week after a last-gasp win over Fleece.

The chasing pack are all closing in, however, with wins for Waverley A over their B team, Nikis A throwing a spanner in the Ship A’s title aspirations and Abbotsford regaining winning ways at Dryburgh.

The second division saw Reivers B go clear with a resounding victory over Reivers A and unbeaten Ship B record there fourth 5-4 win in a row to stay a distant second, Nikis B and Reivers A pushing them close for the number two berth.
