On a glorious sunny day with little wind, Earlston Golf Club travelled to Hawick on Sunday, September 6 to play for the Brotherston Trophy.
Firefighter Shane Paton emerged a convincing winner with a net 65, runner-up was Rodger Whiteford on net 69, with James Brotherston third with net 72.
Nearest the pin in one was Liz Bain, Nearest pin in two and longest drive also went to Shane Paton. Thanks go to James Brotherston for his generous sponsorship of this event.
This is the last singles event which counts towards the club championship, and with Michael Scott coming fifth here, he clinches the 2015 title.
