The Rowan Boland Memorial Trust has shown its support again for tennis talent Harris Brogan, who has netted a £400 grant from the youth sports charity.

The funding will help the 12-year-old from Hawick make national training camps in Stirling, and assist with travel costs to attend performance squads at Craiglockhart in Edinburgh three times a week.

It will also help with costs associated with entering Scottish and UK competitions, and for Harris to receive further coaching.

Harris is rated as the best player in his age group in the south of Scotland, ranked second in Scotland and 29th in the UK.
