MAXTON marathon man Richard Raw, 38, ran his 40th full marathon in Malta last weekend, beating his previous time by more than 50 minutes.
Richard finished the race in four hours, 21 minutes and 35 seconds, his quickest marathon in five years. He told The Southern: “I was very pleased with the way I ran.
“I ran my quickest 10k and half-marathon splits in over a decade, but tired towards the end. I’ll be back in Malta next year. The running conditions were near perfect and I really enjoyed it. I’m pleased to have reached another milestone in my running.”
