Quarter-finals bring about some interesting results

THE quarter-finals of the Borders Pool League Knockout Cup saw a near monumental upset for Waverley A, who only edged past White Swan (Kelso) in the final frame.

Newly-promoted Abbotsford Arms also provided a shock when outpotting Niki’s A, while Reivers B and Ship A cruised past their respective opponents.

The Bowl saw Ship B go down narrowly to the Fleece and Dryburgh and Waverley winning, while High Level and Bridge have to rearrange their tie due to improvements at the Level.
