Kelso Wheelers made a rare incursion across the border for their 12-mile time trial to Carham Hall last week.
The youths continue to set a high standard, despite, or perhaps because of, the summer holidays.
A new youths’ course record was set by Oscar Onley (33.28) alongside pbs from the other four finishers. Two youths chose what is generally acknowledged as a very difficult course for their debut into time trialling. Harry Graves (41.43) put in an impressive performance, but unfortunately Sam Prentice encountered problems on the outward leg and had to withdraw.
Not to be too overshadowed, the seniors recorded four pbs of their own.
