FOLLOWING the Selkirk Common Riding Games on Saturday a further three invites went out to successful athletes for inclusion in the Border Sports and Leisure 150m Classic event on August 28 at Tweedbank Stadium.

In his first year competing at adult level, 16-year-old Keiran Reilly, Edinburgh, made the cut after coming through to take the tape in the Open 200m event, while the dramatic sprint finale saw Nick Smith, Shaftsbury Harriers, and Steven Charters, Dolphinton, both clinching their places.

That makes a total of seven invites to date with a further eight Border Games to go.
