Kelso Ladies 1

Liberton 1

EAST LADIES’ PREMIER DIVISION

NATASHA McLaren’s second-half goal earned Kelso a well deserved draw.

The Tweedsiders made a number of early mistakes, one of which led to Liberton’s first goal.

Kelso fought extremely hard, but the visitors’ keeper pulled off some great saves.

The home side had much of the possession in the second half and they continued to press, until midfielder and player of the match McLaren finally seized the opportunity to score, after running with the ball and finding herself in enough space to execute a great shot into the bottom of the goal.
