Best moment in sport so far: Scoring a goal against the Dutch, the current European Champions, in Holland last year at the Under-18 A Division European Championships.
Aims for the next 12 months: Get back to full fitness after suffering from viral meningitis. Continue to train with Under-21 Scottish squad and compete in the Under-21 European Championships in Russia in July.
How does the ASP help you most: The use of a physiotherapist when required, allowing a fast recovery which has ensured I have never been out of training for a long period of time.
Who in sport most inspires you: Cyclist Chris Hoy, four times Olympic Champion.
FavOURITE sporting moment of all time: Kelly Holmes crossing the line to win her second gold medal in the 2004 Olympics.
Best thing about your sport: Making great friends from all over the country, travelling to play abroad and, of course, winning.
... but dislike: The early morning starts and travelling to training as well as training in the typical Scottish weather.
If not in this sport, would like to compete in: Tennis or badminton. I was in the regional teams for both, but had to give them up to concentrate on hockey.
Usual pre-competition meal: Pasta with chicken and mushrooms in a tomato sauce.
Food dislikes: Bananas, baked beans and tomatoes.
Best motivational song or track: The World’s Greatest by R Kelly.

Competition superstition or odd routine: I always put my left shin pad on first.
When not competing or training I like to: Spend time with my friends and family or chill out in front of the TV
