Maxwell and Sloan top the lot

ROXBURGH Reivers had a good turnout at the 26th running of the Tinto Twin orienteering event held in Lanarkshire last weekend.

Consisting of a night event on Saturday, at Lanark Racecourse, and an urban race on Sunday, at New Lanark World Heritage Site, the best local results came from Kirstin Maxwell, winning the women’s open class, and Robin Sloan taking top spot on the men’s 65+ class.

Pauline McAdam finished in third place over both events in the women’s 55+ class, while, competing only on Sunday, Faisal Khursheed finished fourth in junior men, and Lindsey Knox bagged second on the women’s 40+ class.
