Border Bowmen member Leigh Christie enjoyed another great weekend’s shooting at the Penicuik Challenge.
On Saturday, archers shot an Olympic-style qualifying round followed by head-to-heads. Leigh qualified in first place with a personal best score of 601 and finished second in the head-to-heads.
On Sunday, archers shot a Fita round which was 12 dozen arrows over four distances.
Leigh shot another pb of 1,234. She has now gained her Master Bowman classification. Her scores from the weekend were also qualifying scores for the Great Britain selection shoot.
