GALASHIELS CC

A COLD night again for the riders taking part in last week’s 20.8-mile time trial, but this didn’t stop David Johnston coming in with a race win, with an ever-improving Jim Logan not far behind.

With the top riders all putting in some great times the season is off to a flier and indications are it will be close come the end for the championship.

PEEBLES CC

DESPITE the Peebles-Howford-Peebles course being the least popular in the time trial calendar as well as being an absolutely miserable evening, 21 riders still took part.

The rain and wind certainly suited the younger members of the club with two juniors and a youth finishing in the top five. Thanks to the time keepers and marshals. Details of the next TT can be found at www.peeblescycling.org
