Final lap for games circuit

The curtain comes down on the local games circuit with the staging of the Border Classic meeting at Tweedbank on Saturday.

Athletes have booked their place in some of the events by dint of qualifying, throughout the season, and there are open races as well.

Topping the bill is the 100m by qualification handicap, consisting of three heats, with the first and second in each reaching the final.

Joint back markers are TLJT pair Craig Gillan and Craig Grieve, who both go from scratch.

Racing gets under way at 1.30pm.
