Selkirk sealed promotion to Division Four with victory over Musselburgh 2nds, leading wicket taker Greg Fenton claiming six victims in the process.

Selkirk lost three early wickets, including in-form Darren Fenton, who made 13 as the Souters looked to rebuild from their shaky start.

However, John Everitt only had support from Kenny Paterson, with the skipper scoring 34 and the latter finishing unbeaten on 22 as Selkirk scored a below-par 107.

Opening bowlers Paterson and Greg Fenton ripped into the home side’s batting line-up, taking all nine wickets between them, including six for Fenton, as the visitors bowled Musselburgh out for 63 and the Souters sealed promotion with a 44-run win.
