IN LAST Saturday’s August Medal sponsored by Murray Cleghorn, conditions were easy, but the pin positions were difficult.

Proof of this was in the scoring. The winning score was a net 69 and there was only one two at the nominated holes.

Club steward George Easson, was the best of the six 69s by virtue of a fizzing inward half.

Results: 1, G. Easson nett 69; 2, I. Clark 69; 3, J. Coyle 69; 4, W. Macdonald 69; 5, C. Marshall 69.

Twos: Tim Ford won a huge amount of money by showing what an accurate player he can be at the seventh hole. AM
