Fjordhus Reivers ladies 1sts participated in a top-of-the-table clash against a very young and vocal Inverleith side at the weekend.
From the first whistle, tensions were running high. Both goals came in the opening half, with Inverleith getting the opener before Laura McLean flicked the ball in from a rebound for the equaliser.
With Inverleith desperate to hold onto their position at the top of the National Division Two table, players began to lose focus and challenged adequate umpiring decisions. The Reivers ladies did well to ignore the distracting behaviour of the Edinburgh side and played with untouchable class letting their skills speak for them.
Though the game concluded one all the Reivers ladies came off the pitch holding their heads high after an outstanding performance.
