IT WAS a damp and windy evening for last week’s 25-mile time trial.

Ian Pearson almost broke the hour mark, taking first place in 1.00.02, his best ride for a number of seasons.

ON MONDAY night, Kelso Wheelers held a 12-mile time trial on the Carham course, with 15 riders taking part and eight recording personal best times. The winner on the night was Kenny Darling in a pb of 27.10 .
