Another win for Robson

A COLD damp night met the 18 riders taking part in Wednesday’s 10-mile time trial.

Gary Robson rode away with another race win with David Johnston and Ian Pearson second and third respectfully. The club welcomed another new rider taking part in his first race, Jamie Buchannan, who came in with 27 minutes and 37 seconds.

Despite the cold windy conditions there was a full house of 25 participants for the Stobo time trial last week.

Riders had the benefit of a strong tailwind for the ride out to the turn with the remaining five miles more difficult with an equally strong headwind. Only seven seconds separated the top three riders, which will make for a very interesting season ahead.
