Borders school kids are being urged to get active this summer.
Asda’s Sporting Chance Initiative is giving youngsters across the region access to free sporting sessions to keep them entertained and active during the upcoming school holiday.
Sessions in the Borders include everything from football to hockey, dance and karate.
Emma Clapperton, community colleague, told TheSouthern: “We want to encourage more families to take advantage of the free sessions available in their local area and encourage local sport providers to get in touch if they want to join the scheme.”
Each session is completely free – simply pick up a voucher from your nearest Asda store (no purchase necessary) then visit www.asda.com/freeactivities or phone 08443 356408 to find local sporting venues taking part.
