United’s trip to Fife ended in defeat, with the home side coming out on top in this league encounter at Recreation Park.

Four goals by Shipyard’s midfielder Frankie Masson sunk the Tweedsiders, who replied with goals from Liam O’Rourke and Damien McNulty.

“We had chances in the first half to put ourselves in a strong position, but unfortunately paid the price as Masson gave us a lesson in finishing in the second period,” said Kelso manager Scott Dowie.
