Former Kelso United boss Prof Blaikie and his brother Dod, former manager of Chirnside United, are the new joint managers of Amateur League side Greenlaw.

The Blaikie brothers were appointed at the weekend following the resignation of Lawrie Dunn who said he was leaving Greenlaw FC with “immense pride and great satisfaction in all that the club achieved.”

A spokesman for Greenlaw said: “I am sure I can speak for everybody involved with the club in thanking Lawrie for the commitment he have given to Greenlaw FC in the last three and a half year years.

“Winning the Waddell Cup in 2014 was a great day for all involved. We wish Lawrie all the best in whatever the future holds for him.”

The Blaikie brothers are returning to their roots, having been brought up in Greenlaw and both having played for the club.
