Eyemouth barked the loudest in this league battle of the bottom dogs which ended up being a nine goal thriller.

With a swirling wind at their backs, United got off to a high flying start by netting twice during the first five minutes.

Goal number one came with just 90 seconds gone. After the ‘Fisherman’ had tucked away another almost immediately afterwards Michael McKenzie opened Hawick’s account.

Eyemouth replied by notching a third.

Matching the wind, play continued to rage and Andy Noble reduced the leeway before half time.

In the second period Gordon Ramsay put the Albert on a level pegging before Greg Summers gave Hawick the lead when blasting home a shot from 25 yards.

Eyemouth took this in their stride and after equalising went on to grab what was to be the winning goal.

Following an off the ball flare up, Albert’s Gordon Ramsay as well as an Eyemouth man were both given their marching orders.
