Hawick Royal Albert0
With little hint of what was to come, Royal Albert began in sprightly fashion by holding their own and playing some good passing football.
But on the 20th minute Easthouses sailed ahead after the Hawick defence had failed to clear a free kick and, following further slack defensive play, Lily slotted away a second.
Easthouses had their foot on the gas and secured two first class goals from former Albert signing Graeme Young.
In the second period, Hawick settled into the groove a little more. But apart from Nick Ramsay being thwarted by a superb save from the Lily keeper, the Albert Park men created few chances and in the closing stages Easthouses rattled home a fifth.
Albert coach Alan McKenzie said: “It was a bad day at the office for us. We had passages of play at times, but had nothing to show for it. Easthouses deserved their win but it was a disappointing result for us.”
