Managerless Gala Fairydean moved to the top of the First Division with a dramatic 3-1 win against nine-man Duns.

Scott Nightingale, Jack Hay and Michael Fairburn scored for The Dean, who had Jay Wilson sent off, while both sides missed a penalty each.

Jason Inglis scored an own goal and was sent off as Selkirk lost 2-1 at home to Leith Athletic, with Jamie Gibson notching a spot kick for the Souters.

Kelso United fought back to draw 2-2 with Berwick Rangers Reserves thanks to an own goal and Damien McNulty strike.

Hawick Royal Albert took the lead thanks to Bobby Nwanze’s goal, but Craigroyston fought back to claim a 3-1 win.

And in the Premier Division, Vale of Leithen fought out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Edinburgh University at Victoria Park.
