Deja vu for Stow and Ancrum

The opening day of the new Border Amateur League season will see newly-promoted sides Stow and Ancrum renew their rivalry in the first round of the Border Cup.

Ancrum emerged the winners of Division B after a final-day win over Stow, and the clubs face each other again on August 10.

In the same competition, Leithen Rovers host Hawick Waverley, while new side Gala Fairydean Rovers go to Tweeddale Rovers. In the Wright Cup, holders Hawick Legion host Jed Legion, while new club Melrose Amateurs travel to CFC Bowholm in Division C.
