A draw in this East of Scotland First Division encounter was a fair result in the end for two teams who put on a decent enough showing, but lacked the finishing touch.
Peebles had the better of the first half, with numerous corner kicks and lots of possession, but couldn’t put any of their chances away.
Duns were much improved after the interval and created more than they did in the first 45, but they also failed to capitalise on any of their numerous chances.
The visitors came into the game again late in the second half and created a few opportunities but in truth, neither keeper was called upon to do anything spectacular in the entire 90 minutes.
The Dingers had Martyn Tait sent off near the end, but coped well enough to see the game out and almost stole it in the latter stages with a couple of attempts from Steven Shennan and Steve McHoul.
