Berwick Rangers have appointed 52-year-old John Coughlin as their new manager, following the sacking of Colin Cameron last week.

The America-born boss returnes to the club he left in 2007 to take up the Stenhousemuir job.

He was in charge the last time Berwick were promoted from League Two.

After leaving Berwick in 2007, he secured promotion for Stenhousemuir, guiding the Warriors through the play-offs after a 4th-placed finish.

He then made a switch to East Stirlingshire, staying with the Shire for three years before parting company with the club.
