The Knockout Cup and Bowl semi-finals took centre stage in the Border Pool League – and produced some major shocks.
In the Cup, Division Two Nikis B floored high-flying St Boswells Legion, winning four frames in a row after being 3-1 down. They play Ship A in the final, who also rallied to dramatically clinch the last two nail-biting frames against Waverley A.
The Bowl provided the biggest shock when lowly Division Two Red Lion B downed five-in-a-row champions White Swan (Earlston) to earn a place against Dryburgh in the final.

Cup – semi-finals: Ship A (Melrose) 5 Waverley A 4; Nikis B 5 St Boswells Legion 3.
Bowl – semi-finals: Red Lion B 5 White Swan (Earlston) 2; Dryburgh 5 Bridge 3.
