LEADING children's charity Barnardo's Scotland is appealing to lady golfers in the Borders to help boost its funds.
The charity has teamed up again with the Scottish Ladies Golfing Association for its fund-raising golf tournament and is inviting lady golfers to register for the event, now in its 10th year.

A series of competitions is being organised throughout the summer months by local clubs. The top scorers from the play-offs will go through to the final, which will be held at Arbroath Golf Course on Friday, August 15.

Golfers interested in taking part in Barnardo's/SLGA annual golf competition should contact their local golf club, the SLGA on 01738 442 357 or Barnardo's events organiser Jenny Fergusson on 0131 314 6647.
