PEEBLES and Gala lifted their chances of promotion to Premier Two on Saturday with bonus point wins over Irvine and Dunfermline respectively.
While Gala recorded a 26-15 away win, Peebles kept the pressure on with an almost faultless 57-0 thumping of Irvine at the Gytes.

First half tries from David Paton, Adam Clark, Ross McNish and Willie Aitken, with three conversions from Dan Boughtwood, earned the Gytes men their bonus point.

And in the second half, Dale Clancy, Drew Moore, Alan Smillie, Paton and Boughtwood all went over, with the latter adding three conversions.

The Southern's Kevin Janiak was there to film the action (Click here for video highlights) and talk to coach Bruce McNaughton and scrum half Drew Moore (Click green button above.)
