ANCRUM FC juniors will be dressed for success next season thanks to a local business.
The Under-eights recently received the new kit, donated by F1 Finance of Jedburgh.

The company’s David Inglis, a sponsor with the senior side for the past two seasons, said he was delighted to assist the younger players.

John Parker, Ancrum’s chairman and Under-8s coach, said they had already had a “trial run” with the new kit at the recent Cameron Gunn Football Festival at Galashiels, and that everyone had remarked how smart the team looked.

He added: “It may also prove to be a good omen for the new season starting in August as the team performed really well in the five mini matches on the day.”
