Lothian and Borders Police Road Policing Branch within the Scottish Borders is delighted to be working in partnership with The Southern Reporter, using their internet website as an additional means of communication.
This partnership venture will enable the police to promote their message regarding road safety and casualty reduction to even greater numbers of people both in the Scottish Borders and beyond.
Inspector Alan Baird, head of Road Policing, Scottish Borders said: "More and more people are using the internet as their primary information source. This exciting new project, in partnership with The Southern Reporter, will enable us to engage with an even greater number of people than is afforded by the paper alone.
"It also gives us the opportunity to communicate with people residing outwith the papers distribution area, something which is hugely important due to the number of people who use the road network to travel through the Scottish Borders"
