Scottish Borders Council is making no attempt to reduce its heating bills if Selkirk library is anything to go by.
I was there a few days ago and it was like a sauna. I understand that the heating cannot be turned off, which I find hard to believe.
It is not exactly pleasant for staff or customers alike, particularly in a hot summer such as we are having.
Come on, SBC, I am sure a suitably qualified heating engineer could solve the problem and save the council a considerable amount of money.
