The National Youth Agency (NYA) has launched a digital pack of materials in preparation for Youth Work Week 2012 (November 5-11).
Youth workers and youth-focused organisations are being invited to showcase the impact their work has on the lives of young people and the wider community this Youth Work Week using specially developed materials, now available from the NYA’s website.
The materials have been developed to guide and inspire youth workers to get involved with Youth Work Week by promoting their work and organising events that demonstrate this year’s Connecting Cultures theme. Included in the pack is a fundraising guide, promotional toolkit and template posters and case studies.
The NYA has organised Youth Work Week since 1993, providing an opportunity for youth organisations, youth workers and young people to highlight the value of their work to decision makers, opinion formers and the wider community.
For the first time, Youth Work Week will unite all 54 Commonwealth countries following a partnership with the Commonwealth Secretariat.
