Firebrand Theatre Company is offering Southern readers the chance to win two free tickets to its performance at the Wynd Theatre in Melrose of the critically-acclaimed production White Rose.

It plays at The Eastgate, Peebles, tomorrow and then runs at the Wynd from Sunday to Tuesday at 7.30pm each night.

The gripping World War II story sold out at its opening at Heart of Hawick a fortnight ago. It features Lesley Harcourt (Taggart) and Alison O’Donnell, who co-stars in new BBC 1 drama Shetland opposite Douglas Henshall, which premieres on Sunday.

To win a pair of tickets to the Wynd show on Tuesday, answer this question: During which world war is White Rose set?

Send your answer, name, full address and daytime phone number by email to kenny.paterson@jpress.co.uk or post to White Rose Competition, The Southern Reporter, The Hermitage, High Street, Selkirk TD7 4DA by 9am on Monday. Usual Southern rules apply.
